Since 1964, the Batal Agency in Sanford has provided comprehensive insurance services to Sanford area businesses and residents. It's with pleasure we recognize that many of our clients have been with us for many of those years. With a constant focus on the customer, our agency has steadily grown. And, along the way, a number of clients from Kennebunk, York, Wells, and Ogunquit came to Sanford for their insurance. To better serve those communities we opened a new office in Wells in January of 1995.

The professionals at the Batal Agency offices work hard to keep pace with their customer's changing needs, and to balance those needs against the ever-changing methods of doing business.  At the same time our dedicated staff has maintained the same courteous, personal service that clients have come to expect.

As an independent agency, we represent a wide range of insurance companies.  This diversity of sources makes it possible to better fit the needs of our clients to appropriate insurance programs.  The best policy  --   the best rate.  The companies we work with all have financial strength and excellent response to claims and other customer needs. 

Edward Batal is the agency principle.  Nancy Batal-Sholler, who is most often found at the Sanford office, directs all the business "traffic" for the offices.   Our much appreciated staff includes Donna & Stacy, for personal-lines services. Barbara , front office reception and billing, and Teri, commercial-lines underwriting.  Lisa is at the Wells office.
